A group of young research scholar from some leading university in Kolkata, West Bengal, publish a Quality refereed category (Blind Reviewed) History Journal, named Itikotha (ইতিকথা), initially with around 9 Articles on various topics & aspects related to History and its sister discipline like Archaeology I.R. etc. With our dedication and utmost determination, we would put every effort to publish the Journal, in the long run, on a regular basis.

All the Article writers are Master Degree Holders in History, from UGC recognized Universities and are attached with various Academic Institutions as teaching professionals. Most of the article writers are working either as Fulltime Lecture / Part-Time Lecturers / Guest Lecturers at Degree colleges, or pursuing post-Master Degree courses like Ph.D and M.Phil., as per stipulated norms of the Government. The Articles written in Bengali Language, are aimed to unfold facts, to establish truth with an approach to assess & judge historical events from different angle. 

We are also in the process of approaching renowned High Level Academicians / Renowned Historians seeking their advice, guidance, valued opinions and comments, if any, apart from their blessings, for a successful publication of the Journal. They become our respected members of the Advisory Board. Our Publishing Agency Bangiya Itihash Parishad will do the rest of the job related to printing and publication of the Journal.
